Unboxing Contest Rules

Welcome to the CatnipTakeout Unboxing Contest! We are thrilled to see your unboxing moments and share in the joy of your cat’s new toys. Please read the following rules and conditions carefully before participating:

How to Enter

  1. Eligibility: The contest is open to all CatnipTakeout customers.
  2. Purchase or Receive Toys: Buy any CatnipTakeout toy online, at events, or receive them as a gift.
  3. Unbox and Share: Capture the unboxing moment with your cat and/or your cat playing with the toy.
  4. Post Your Entry:
    • Online Purchases: Post your unboxing video and/or playing with our toys or photo on Instagram or Facebook.Share with us via email and we will post.
    • In-Person Purchases or Gifts: Post your unboxing video and/or playing with our toys or photo on Instagram or Facebook.  Share with us via email and we will post.
  5. Tag and Follow: Tag @CatnipTakeout and use the hashtag #CatnipTakeoutUnboxing. Ensure you’re following us on the social platform you post on.  Your story must be available to share (we will share on our profile and your profile must be public for entries to count.
  6. Bonus Entry: Leave a review on our website.

Submission Guidelines

  1. Content: Your post must include a clear unboxing moment and/or your cat interacting with the new toys.
  2. Quality: Ensure your video or photo is clear and showcases the toys and your cat(s) well.
  3. Inclusion: The photo must include our signature takeout box or your cat playing with the toy, or a combination of both.
  4. Creativity: The more playful and imaginative, the better your chances.

Prizes and Winner Announcement

  • Monthly Prize: A mix of "What's New on the Table This Week" toys valued at $30.
  • Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced on the 5th of each month on our social media channels and in our newsletter.

Legal and Compliance

Grant of Rights By participating in the contest, you grant CatnipTakeout the non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide right to use, modify, and distribute your submitted photos and videos for marketing and promotional purposes. This includes but is not limited to social media, our website, email newsletters, and other marketing materials.

No Purchase Necessary No purchase is necessary to enter or win the contest. Making a purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

Liability Disclaimer CatnipTakeout is not responsible for any technical difficulties, miscommunications, or lost entries. By participating in the contest, you agree to hold CatnipTakeout harmless from any claims or damages arising out of your participation. CatnipTakeout reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these rules.  

Privacy Your personal information will be used solely for the purposes of administering the contest and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. By participating, you agree to the collection and use of your information for these purposes.

Contest Modification CatnipTakeout reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the contest will be posted on our website.
